B L U E L E O P A R D S

Okay so I know I've given shoulder pads more air time than day time soaps in the 70's but here they are again...Only this time they're totally fucking workin' it. Thank god as I was growing tired of shoving things down my top and waiting for magic to happen- Something I did a lot of in my early teens. Anywho... the reason these ones are so dope is because like all good things in life, they are not supposed to be for me.  They are for men. They're a little bigger and a lot sharper and totally Tom Selleck. I moved them into my favorite dress that I found years ago and altered the hell out of. Move over, blue leopard print mini's with all the right angles are my new favorite thing

    Dear Elise,

Just like you, Julia and I are two girls running a fashion blog called Les Mads http://www.lesmads.de /lesmads.com, which is a very big one in Germany.
Currently, we are voting on our website who, in the eyes of our german audience, is the most inspiring international fashion blogger. We have selected six choices and we included you in the exclusive choice. However, its up to the audience to decide on the number one. We hope you are okay with including you in our project. As you know we really love your blog and it would be a pity if you would not join. Maybe you would even like to encourage your viewers to vote as well in our right sidebar – this is the link to our post:

  60. Hey!

I was having troubles finding your e-mail, so I am just posting the message here on your blog instead!

My name is Marie and I am a norwegian graphic design student. I am currently working with my final project after 2 years of school, starting a new online magazine with the name of Spilled Milk.

Spilled milk is a free magazine about fashion, design, photography and lifestyle that focus on cherishing the opportunity life gives and making the most of it. It especially focus on finding new and fresh talent trough different and exciting channels, like blogs, flickr, deviantart etc.

Our very first issue is to be released the 11th of June, and in this issue it is going to be a "Bloggers summer fashion" spread featuring different fashion bloggers dressed in one of their favourite looks for summer 2009.

So I was wondering if you would be interested in being featured in the spread?

If so, you have two options:
    1. You can pick a look and take a picture just for the magazine and write a sentence or two about why this is a great look for summer 2009.
    2. I can chose a picture from your blog and use what you have written in that blog post to describe the look.

Unfortunatly I have very few days left to finish the first issue, so I would have to have either a "go" on option 2 or the material from option 1 in before June 2nd.

So it would be great if you could send me a mail with either yes or no as soon as you know.

I would really love to have you as a part of the summer page, so I am looking forward to your reply!

    Sincerely,
    Marie Lid Aske

  73. I have to say, I have been a bit skeptical about the whole shoulder pad comeback. This, however, just works - there is something about the feminine print with the studded belt that screams chic.
